Re: BAPCO Assistant Manager Graduate Training Programme.
Dear Mr. Mohamed,
I would like to apply for the position of Engineering department, AMTP – 01, as advertised in the Gulf Daily News.
I have read an article about your job vacancy for a BAPCO Assistant Manager Position and I am very much interested how BAPCO utilizes advanced techniques to carry out extensive studies to obtain accurate data on existing oil and gas reserves. I am willing to contribute my skills and knowledge to the success of this company.
I believe my education, achieved qualifications and skills are well equipped to accomplished tasks and solve problems. Currently, I am studying in the first year of my Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Bahrain Polytechnic. I have gained experience from my pass projects for example I have manufactured an aluminum steam engine by multiple machines for example Milling and Centre-lathe machines. Secondly, I was made the coach of General Organization for Youth and Sports (GOYS) to lead my team of four members to build and program robots for the Bahrain VEX EDER Robotics Championship. Due to the teams dedication to hard work I had led my team to the third place of the championship which qualified us to the final stages of the world championship to win the Design Award.
Studying at Bahrain Polytechnic has provided me with the opportunity and skills to interact with people from diverse backgrounds. I have gained valuable skills of programming languages such as C++, HTML and JAVA Script. I have practiced and mastered computer applications for engineering purposes like Mat-lab and Lab-view. By combining time management skills and my leadership skills I have accomplished enough tasks and gained a numerous employability skills regarding problem solving and take initiative and enterprise with the community around by volunteering for organizing events at Bahrain Polytechnic (e.g. Bahrain National day and Sports day). I do believe this has been one of the most valuable skills I have gained as a result of my education.
I would be happy to be given the opportunity to attend this interview at your convenience to discuss my C.V. in detail.
Sincerely yours,
Zainab Ali
